It is with Deep Regret that the Westwego Volunteer Fire Co. #1 announce the passing of Life Member and Retired Operator/Firefighter Phillip "The Crab" Crabtree. He was also a Past President for the Louisiana Arson and Fire Prevention Association from 1995-97. A Memorial Service will be held at The Westwego Fire Dept. Meeting Room (Upstairs at 677 Avenue H) on Saturday, January 19th at 11am. Please join us in praying for the Crabtree Family in this really tough time.

Terry G.I. Thibodaux passed away on May 16, 2018. LA Arson and Fire Prevention Association would like to send prayers to the family and friends of Roy Anthony Pete, past president of our association in 2008-2010. He was 72. Born on August 19, 1945 to the late Gilbert J. and Delores E. (Terrio) Thibodaux. Preceded in death by his brother Don D. Theriot. Survived by his brothers, Rodney J. Simoneaux (Vera), and Ronald G. In Memory of Roy Anthony Peter. LA Arson and Fire Prevention Association would like to send prayers to the family and friends of Roy Anthony Pete, past president of our association in 1987-1988. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Roy Anthony Pete, age 78, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Fr. Alexander Albert will be the celebrant.
